so ive had this thing for about 2 weeks now and only just removed it after know that it actually was a trojan, i don’t know how it got onto my pc but its probably cause ive got no anti virus (naughty naughty ). i removed it using Hijack this. but how much damage could it have caused me over a 2 week period? do i have to download a antivirus ;_; incase its unleashed a crusade of viruses? could it really be that bad? from yeesnaw. like i said, ‘i removed it with HijackThis.’ im just wondering if it could have been downloading heaps of crap onto my system… ecspecially scince i’ve been rolling around the net with DMZplus mode enabled i haven’t seen any abnormal behaviour and went over the HijackThis logs pretty thorougly.

Answer:
it’s msupdate.exe. It cause recent “features” to be downloaded to your computer. Get a firewall and a virus scanner.
